VISION
ZERO
(Strong Towns)
Mission
Vision Zero is more than a slogan—it's an internationally adopted strategy to eliminate traffic-related deaths and severe injuries while improving safety, health, and mobility for all. SOSNA utilizes this approach to promote safety for every street and sidewalk user by improving street design, access, and following Vision Zero principles.

Vision Zero acknowledges that many factors contribute to safe mobility — including roadway design, speeds, behaviors, technology, and policies — and sets clear goals to achieve zero fatalities and severe injuries.

Aligned with Strongtowns principles, we focus on fiscally responsible, community-driven growth that builds safer, more resilient neighborhoods. By merging Vision Zero’s safety goals with Strongtowns’ emphasis on human-scale development, we aim to enhance both livability and economic vitality in our community.
